Through presentations and panel discussions, participants delve into the role of architecture and design in sound perception, stage layout, and audience comfort.

From 2022, Roca Gallery and Figueras Seating have been organizing a series of events under the theme “Architecture and Music,” providing a platform for dialogue around how architectural design intersects with music.

Join us for an upcoming edition at Roca London Gallery who aims to continue this tradition of bringing together professionals and fostering innovative perspectives.

Structure of the Event:

Each “Architecture and Music” session is typically divided into two parts.

In the first segment, three architects each give a brief presentation on a specific topic related to the interplay between architecture and the performing arts. This is followed by an open Q&A session designed to encourage dialogue among the speakers and audience members.

In the second part, an architect-musician takes the stage to illustrate how music and architecture intertwine, culminating in a live performance. This concluding concert not only brings the evening to a memorable close, but also provides a direct demonstration of the synergy between these two creative disciplines.
