Gain double CPD points on Thursday 11 November and join us for a unique event at the Roca London Gallery in collaboration with Swatchbox.

With 32% of all landfill waste coming directly from the construction industry and one third of that waste being some form of packaging, the ordering and disposal of material samples might seem like a small issue, but it plays a significant role in the overall construction packaging waste problem. As part of a RIBA accredited CPD presentation, Antony Fuller from Swatchbox will be explaining several key initiatives that are trying tackle these issues. This includes the Zero Avoidable Waste in Construction initiative, Manufacturer ‘Return A Sample’ programmes and Swatchbox Pro, a brand-new sample ordering and collection service.

You will also have an opportunity to explore new materials provided by Swatchbox Pro partners as well as network with the suppliers at the event.

Attendees will then join an intimate CPD architectural tour of the Roca London Gallery presented by Zaha Hadid Architects. By examining the conceptual and technical development of the project, the tour will analyse the initial challenges presented by the existing building, the design concept and spatial strategies and an in-depth look at the processes and materials used to achieve the iconic double curvature of the interior.

Doors open 18:15.
