As part of the exhibition Timber Rising: Veritical Visions for the Cities of Tomorrow, this event discussed how tall timber is changing; as the industry is realising the potential for using wood in the 21st century, the conversation is shifting to how architects and engineers design with mass timber.

With presentations from important voices at the forefront of timber architecture, discussing how they use engineered wood in their buildings and research proposals; and how, in practical terms, other architects and engineers can start to add this revolutionary material to their own repertoire.

Speakers included Susan Jones, FAIA, Founder atelierjones, Andrew Waugh, Director, Waugh Thistleton Architects (London) and Robert Schmitz, Partner, White Arkitekter (Stockholm).
