Roca’s One Day Design Challenge returned to the Roca London Gallery on Saturday 26th May 2018. The competition challenged architects, designers and students under the age of 30 to respond to a timed brief relating to bathroom concepts and the opportunity to win up to £2,500 in cash prizes.

The brief was announced on the day and participants had the day to complete their entry, which was judged on its creativity, originality and viability as well as the clarity and graphic design of the presentation.

The prestigious jury included interior designer and presenter of the BBC’s Great Interior Design Challenge Daniel Hopwood, curator Eva Woode (Studio Woode), designer Duncan Parkes (Cellar Door) and architecture critic, curator and writer Laura Mark.

Alongside the £1,000 prize for the competition winner or winning team, cash prizes were also awarded on the day for second place (£650) and third place (£350).
