Designed by the award-winning Zaha Hadid Architects, the Roca London Gallery is an innovative space where Roca product display environments live harmoniously alongside a series of cultural exhibitions and events on a variety of themes such as architecture, design and sustainability. Vanishing Points: Architectural Imagination in the Digital Universe

Roca's exciting new exhibition on architectural drawing, curated by architect and author of the new RIBA Book Drawing Attention Hamza Shaikh, in collaboration with Drawing Matter. The exhibition features architectural drawings from the Drawing Matter archive alongside a selection of present day works carefully selected by Hamza; historical pieces will be juxtaposed with new, to show how drawing has not only always been used to represent and circulate innovative ideas, but how it continues to inspire and push innovation forwards.

RECONNECTING WITH NATURE

Human evolution is intrinsically tied to our changing connection to the natural world. As we moved from the agricultural age through the various stages of the industrial and now digital revolutions, humans have sought to domesticate and eventually to dominate the environment, producing a radical change in the way we live and consume. Now we realize the urgent need to regenerate the balance between humans, animals and nature, creating a more healthy environment for all. As we come full circle in these relationships, we are beginning to understand the value of Indigenous and traditional strategies, which combined with new technologies can lead us toward the design of a more green and vibrant future.
